A mid 20th century 18ct gold and platinum diamond single-stone ring. The circular-cut diamond, to the graduated single-cut diamond shoulders and tapered band. One diamond deficient. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.40ct, I-J colour, P1 clarity. Weight 2.3gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. One diamond is deficient. One of the claws has broken off. Some scattered dark inclusions visible to the principal diamond, easily visible with magnification. Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Estimated total shoulder diamond weight under 0.10ct. Individual size and setting of shoulder diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stamped 18ct plat. Ring size K.
