BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A mid 19th century silver and gold diamond riviere. Designed as a series of graduated old-cut diamonds, to the partially concealed clasp. Several replacement later mounts. Estimated total diamond weight 8-9cts, J-tinted colour, SI-P1 clarity. Length 43cms. Weight 22.1gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Some diamonds, have natural dark inclusions that can be seen with naked eye Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. evidence of repair work to links and settings Several replacement later mounts, approximately 17.
