BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A mid 19th century gold split pearl memorial locket. Of padlock design, the woven hair panel, with seed pearl surround and surmount. Length 2cms. Weight 1.6gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Woven hair is still intact. Residue it present within the panel. Seed pearls vari in colours. Some appear a grey, others a cream. Some are possibly replacements. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
