A mid 19th century gold split pearl and ruby ring. The split pearl and cushion-shape ruby accent floral cluster, with split pearl trefoil and scrolling sides, to the grooved band. Ring size O. Weight 2.4gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Split pearls well matched. One or two replacements. Band shows evidence of repair/ resize. Rubies medium red and well matched, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
