A mid 19th century gold, garnet and paste brooch. The pear-shape garnet and textured foliate cluster, within a circular-shape paste floral quatrefoil surround, suspending a double swag and paste floral drop. Length 6.1cms. Weight 10.7gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Garnets medium purplish red, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
