A mid 19th century gold, garnet and chrysoberyl hinged bangle. The vari-shape foil-back garnet and chrysoberyl floral cluster, within a cannetille spiral surround, to the scrolling foliate engraved tapered half-bangle and plain reverse. Inner diameter 6.4cms. Weight 16.3gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Safety chain replacement. General small, slight dents and discolouration. Gems in closed settings, assumed foil back. Garnets a well matched light purplish red hue. Chrysoberyl a yellowish green hue.
