A Maori jade Manaia pendant. Symbolising the head of a bird, body of a man and tail of a fish to represent the balance between earth, sky and water. Length 3.3cms. Weight 3.7gms.
This lot is in good condition, with light scratches to the jade in keeping with age and wear. The Moari jade is of a mid to dark green translucent appearance.
