A late Victorian gold diamond and enamel pendant. The old-cut diamond star, to the oval-shaped blue enamel dome, within a cannetille surround, suspended from a later added 9ct gold curb-link chain. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Length of pendant 5cms. Length of chain 51.5cms. Total weight 18.8gms
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. enamel is in fairly good condition, with minon chips, chips and nibbles can be seen around star motif and setting. one chip to side of enamel Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
