A late Victorian Etruscan Revival gold and gem-set brooch. Designed as a stylised knot, with fringe terminals, floral cannetille accents and turquoise, split pearl and diamond central highlight. Length 5.7cms. Weight 16.1gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear and very slight dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond weight significantly below 0.10ct. Size of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Split pearls fairly well matched, varied discolouration. Turquoise a medium light blue, with slight matrix veining visible. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
