A late Victorian 9ct gold garnet and split pearl ring. The five split pearls within a garnet border, to the engraved foliate shoulders and band. One garnet deficient. Hallmarks for Birmingham 1886. Weight 1.6gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discoloration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. nacre on pearls is worn. pearls have olive and rose overtones. foliate engraving is worn in areas. ring band is out of shape Ring size P1/2 Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
