A late Victorian 15ct gold ruby five-stone ring, circa 1880. The graduated cushion-shape ruby line, to the scrolling sides and tapered band. Hallmarks partially indistinct. Weight 2gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. The rubies are a fairly well matched slightly purplish red hue, variation in saturation and tone. Fair to good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
