A late nineteenth century Russian silver Torah pointer, the tapering form with applied Star of David and having a putto finial standing on a pierced and compressed globular shape and holding aloft a similar one. Russian Assay Master mark for 1894 alongside further standard and assay marks, some indistinct. Length measuring 12 1/4 inches (31 cm), gross weight 2.4 ozt (74.5 grams).
The pointer displays some general wear and tarnishing and would benefit from a polish. General surface marks and scratches, also several small dints and bumps. Likely paste stones. Some of the marks are a little worn or distorted.
