A late George III silver sugar bowl, the circular tapering form with twin foliate capped scroll handles and elaborately decorated throughout with floral, foliate and scroll motifs, the whole raised on four similarly decorated feet. Hallmarked London 1818 with maker's mark possibly reading SW. Maximum length including handles measures 7 3/4 inches (19.5 cm), weight 18.57 ozt (577.7 grams).
The bowl appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing. Some minor dints. Residues of polish. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
