A late George III 15ct gold memorial split pearl and enamel memorial ring. The pink foil-back paste panel, within a split pearl and black enamel surround, to the split pearl trifurcated shoulders and ridged band. Inner inscription reads 'Sam Acton obt 26 Sept 1817 at 63'. Weight 5.6gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. The central cluster panel is loose. Significant area of discolouration visible to the reverse of the band. Abrasion and gas bubbles visible to the central paste. The foil is pink not the paste. There are chips are areas of abrasion visible to some split pearls. Ring size R. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
