A late 19th century split pearl and diamond wreath brooch. Designed as an alternating split pearl and old-cut diamond line. Estimated total diamond weight 0.55ct. Diameter 2.6cms. Weight 4.9gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds bright and relatively lively for size. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Split pearls greyish body colour, fair lustre. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
