A late 19th century silver and gold sapphire and diamond jewellery suite. To include a necklace designed as a pear and cushion-shape rose-cut diamond openwork front to the series of oval-shape sapphires interspaced by rose-cut openwork foliate panels, together with a matching ring and ear pendants. Length of necklace 51cms. Length of ear pendants 7cms. Total weight 69.6gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Sapphire light purplish hue, well saturated, with x clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.
