A late 19th century silver and gold natural pearl and diamond cluster brooch. The natural pearl, measuring approximately 11.9 by 10.2 by 9mms, to the old-cut diamond floral surround, with rose-cut diamond accents. Accompanied by report number 5776-4262, dated 11th January, 2016 from Gemmological Certification Services, stating the pearl is natural, saltwater. Estimated total diamond weight 1.80cts. Length 2.2cms. Weight 6.1gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. One of the diamond point claws holding the pearl is deficient. Please see report for full pearl details. Typical surface blemishes and minor nacre damage. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are bright with good clarity.
