A late 19th century silver and gold diamond pendant. The old-cut diamond, within a similarly-cut diamond openwork surround, to the old-cut diamond tapered surmount, suspended from a later belcher-link chain. May be worn as a brooch. Estimated total diamond weight 1.90cts, H-J colour, SI2-P2 clarity. Length of pendant 3.5cms. Length of chain 40cms. Total weight 12.5gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Areas of dark discolouration visible to the settings in places. Diamonds fairly bright. Inclusions to some diamonds visible with the unaided eye.
