A late 19th century silver and gold diamond crescent brooch. The old-cut diamond spray, to the old-cut diamond crescent. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80ct. Length 5cms. Weight 3.9cms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discoloration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. some diamonds possibly replacements. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Some diamonds show a draw of colour, and white and dark inclusions can be seen under 10x magnification base metal replacement pin Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and to facet Stone is fair to poor condition Some with chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. other have minor scratches and abrasion to facets and facet edges.
