A late 19th century silver and gold diamond and emerald brooch. The square-shape emerald, to the rose-cut diamond spiral surround. Length 2.9cms. Weight 7.8gms.
Overall condition good. Light surface scratches to setting in keeping with general wear. Emerald is a possible replacement. Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate colour/clarity grade and weight assessment, some of the diamonds with surface reaching inclusions and nicks. Emerald medium green hue, well saturated with typical inclusions and surface abrasions. Please see important notices for purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones.
