A late 19th century Scottish silver hardstone, amethyst and paste dirk brooch. The tapered blue lace agate panels and bloodstone band, with circular-shape amethyst and orange paste accents, to the similarly-cut orange paste hilt. Length 6.9cms. Weight 7.3gms.
Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Dents and areas of damage visible to the brooch in places, there are holes to some areas of the silver. Some small chips visible to the orange paste.
