A late 19th century pietra dura locket. Of oval outline, the pietra dura panel, depicting a floral bouquet, within a rope-twist surround. Length 5.1cms. Weight 14.8gms.
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration to surround in keeping with age and general wear. Sections of surround deficient, split to one side of surround, the frame has become unattached from the panel. Reverse with photograph compartment, noticeable discolouration to frame.
