A late 19th century pearl and diamond pendant. The pearl and old-cut diamond cluster, within a pearl quatrefoil and similarly-cut diamond scrolling foliate surround, suspended from a graduated old-cut diamond line surmount. With original en-tremblant hair slide fitting. Estimated total diamond weight 2.10cts. Diameter of pendant. With fitted case. Pearls untested.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches to the mount in keeping with general age and wear. The pearls have a cream hue, with soft lustre - all are well matched. Pearls untested for natural origin. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are well matched, some with small central inclusions visible under magnification. The whole pendant appears to have been later rhodium plated. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
