A late 19th century memorial brooch and hair chain. The hair chain of finely woven brown hair, with three metal collars at intervals along its length to the jump-ring closure, together with a glazed panel brooch with decorative hair arrangement to front and back and scrolling border. Lengths 7 to 111cms. Weight 34.3gms.
This lot is in fair condition, with scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal surface in keeping with age and wear. Hair necklace is in good condition with minimal signs of fraying. One glazed hair panel from the brooch is slightly loose and liable to come out, this may benefit from a minor repair. - Shipping Info
