A late 19th century gold turquoise locket. Of oval outline, the raised central panel with engraved detail, set with five turquoise stones, one circular cabochon and four square in shape, opening to reveal a glazed panel with curled lock of hair beneath. Length 5.1cms. Weight 18gms.
This lot is in good to fair condition, with light scratches and dents to the metal in keeping with age and wear. There is a small dent to the front of the locket and the scrollwork to the top of the raise panel has split to one of the joins.
