A late 19th century gold split pearl horseshoe brooch. Designed as a series of two graduated seed pearl lines. Length 3.5cms. Weight 5.3gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Split pearls are well matched for colour, white-cream. One smaller split pearl missing. replacement base metal pin possible adjustments to the tip, one is flat, the other curved.
