A late 19th century gold shell cameo brooch. Carved to depict two roman soldiers looking down on a begging crowd underneath a material canopy, within a scroll and floral engraved mount. Length 6.7cms. Weight 22.4gms. With fitted case.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Case in relatively good condition for the age.
