A late 19th century gold sapphire and diamond horseshoe stickpin. The circular-shape sapphire crescent, with diamond point double spacers, to the plain pin. One diamond deficient. Length of stickpin head 1.7cms. Weight 3.3gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general age and wear. One diamond deficient. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Sapphires medium slightly purplish-blue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
