A late 19th century gold paste brooch. The oval-shape purple paste, within a rope-twist and scrolling edge surround, to the engraved border with bead highlights. Length 4.2cms. Weight 13.1gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches, discolouration and dents in keeping with general wear. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Glazed panel on the reverse with purple lining. Purple paste has a star design carved in the middle. With safety chain. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
