A late 19th century gold micro mosaic ring. Depicting a lady handing a red flower to a young boy, within a blue hardstone border, to the grooved band. Hardstone panel cracked. Ring size L. Weight 8.5gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. The blue hardstone panel is cracked in five places surrounding the mosaic, visible chips and abrasion to the edging. Areas of slight wear visible to the tesserae with magnification. Some more significant scratches visible to the inside of the band. File mark and area of discolouration to the back of the band.
