A late 19th century gold, hardstone cameo brooch. The circular-shape hardstone carved to depict Demeter, within a blue enamel Greek-key surround, with split pearl accents. May be worn as a pendant. Diameter 4.1cms. Weight 15.8gms.
Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Enamel with minor surface abrasions. Split pearls well matched. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
