BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A late 19th century gold garnet fringe pendant. The raised oval foil-back garnet cabochon, within a bead and rope-twist double surround, to the graduated fringe and later bow surmount. Length 6.8cms. Weight 9.3gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and minor discolouration to setting and surmount in keeping with general wear. Bow surmount is most likely to be a later addition. Garnet is a possible replacement. Glazed panel to reverse. Please see important notices for purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones.
