BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A late 19th century gold foil-back garnet pendant. The oval-shape foil-back garnet cabochon, within a bead and cannetille surround, suspending a fringe, to the later tapered surmount. Length 5.6cms. Weight 16.1gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the brooch. Replacement later surmount. Possible replacement garnet. Garnet in good condition with minor abrasions. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
