A late 19th century gold diamond riviere. Designed as a series of graduated old-cut diamonds, to the partially concealed clasp. Estimated total diamond weight 14.50-15cts, H-J colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Length 38cms. Weight 15.1gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. The piece tests as 12ct gold. Areas of tarnishing and discolouration to the settings. There is a hinged loop to the central diamond, the links are also detachable to the central five collets. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Inclusions to some visible with the unaided eye. With safety chain.
