A late 19th century gold citrine pendant. The cushion-shape citrine, within a cannetille surround. Length 3.5cms. Weight 9.6gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Piece appears to have a high gilding. replacement 9ct gold bale. Localised scratches and discolouration to the back of the pendent. Some areas of the delicate cannetille are partially misshaped. The citrine is a light brownish-yellow hue, with typical colour zoning. Citrine has light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. Length and weight of pendant does not include the later added surmount clip. Later added surmount clip stamped 9ct, length 1.5cms, weight 0.7gm.
