A late 19th century gold and silver cultured pearl, enamel and diamond brooch. Designed as an old-cut diamond leaf, to the cultured pearl and rose-cut diamond foliate highlight blue enamel scroll surround. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Length 3cms. Weight 5.5gms.
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. The base metal pin and security clasp are replacements. Cultured pearls possibly replacements. Diamond foliate drop may have suspended a further drop section, now deficient. Enamel has a small chipped area to one corner. Cultured pearls in good condition.
