BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A late 19th century gold amethyst and split pearl hinged bangle. The front designed as a split pearl within a stair motif, inset to the raised circular amethyst cabochon and scroll engraved sides. Inner diameter 6.5cms. Weight 24.4gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Split pearl surround is raised one peg, attention needed. amethyst medium purple, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. split pearls are replacement pearls have not been tested for natural origin safety chain deficient Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
