A late 19th century gold agate brooch. The central open circle to the interwoven stylised figure of eight, each part inlaid with vari-coloured agate, with yellow paste cabochons to the outer ends. Length 3.8cms. Weight 3.8gms.
This lot is in fair condition, with scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal surface in keeping with age and wear. Small chips visible to the edges of most of the agate pieces. Dark discoloured patches to the gold both front and back.
