A late 19th century garnet and split pearl brooch. Designed as a series of circular-shape garnet and split pearls, inset to the disc, to the double surround with alternating cross and split pearl scrolling highlights. Diameter 3.1cms. Weight 5.5gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. The garnets are in good condition. The split pearls have typical surface blemishes and light nacre damage.
