BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A late 19th century French brass mantel clock. The 3.75 Roman dial with rosette centre, the two train movement striking on a coiled gong, stamped H P & Cie number 89816, the break arched case with urn finial, over cast classical narrative scene, raised on toupie feet, 15.5 (39cm) high.
Tarnishing to dial, some losses to blacking of letters, movement appears sound but gong post is loose, case has minor staining to roof and slight wear to lacquer but is general sound. - Shipping Info
