A late 19th century diamond bow brooch. Designed as an old-cut diamond bow, with articulated similarly-cut diamond terminals, to the later added old-cut diamond central highlight. Estimated total diamond weight 3.30cts. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.60ct, I-J colour, P2 clarity. Length 4.2cms. Weight 7.7gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Areas of soft solder visible to the brooch reverse from repair and possible replacement of central stone. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds bright and lively. With safety clasp.
