A late 19th century cultured pearl and diamond spray brooch. The two cultured pearl, rose and old-cut diamond stylised leaves, gathered by a similarly-set ribbon. Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 1.30cts. Length 4.5cms. Weight 12.1gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Small light and dark inclusions can be seen under 10x magnification. Pearls are replacements, colours range from a creamy white, to creamy yellow. Glue residue is visible around pearl setting. with fixed posts for pierced ears Colour of pearls range from a yellow hue through to a creamish white with olive and rose overtones Pearls show typical surface blemishes with have a fairly good lustre.
