A late 19th century cameo brooch. The oval-shape shell, carved to depict Hebe feeding Zeus as an eagle from a bowl, within a scrolling detailed surround. Length 9.5cms. Weight 35.2gms. With case.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Very end of the pin is bent. Cameo in good condition with no chips or nibbles to the engraving.
