A late 19th century 9ct gold outer locket. Of oval outline with engraved foliate, Greek-key and triangular detail to the 9ct gold outer casing, opening to reveal three hinged gold plated photograph panels. Length 2.6cms. Weight 13.7gms.
Overall fair to good condition, with light to moderate surface scratches and tarnishing from general wear. It doesn't close fully due to the pin to the inner hinge protruding. The inner panels and inside of the locket are fairly heavily tarnished. There is one plastic panel missing to one of the photograph inserts. Length including suspension loop is 3.3cms. - Shipping Info
