A late 19th century 18ct gold split pearl and diamond memorial ring. The split pearl quatrefoil, with rose-cut diamond accents, to the scroll embossed trifurcated shoulders. Woven hair panel to reverse. Ring size I. Weight 3.2gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Split pearls fairly well matched. Minor surface scratches and wear to nacre. Two pearls have a very fine line, which appear under the surface of the nacre. Grooved detail to sides of settings have worn away in located areas. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct. Hair panel intact. Minor green staining visible. Chips and scratches to glazed back panel. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
