A late 19th century 18ct gold diamond and enamel locket. The rose-cut diamond floral motif, atop a marquise-shape blue enamel panel, to the oval-shape locket with glazed interior. French assay marks. Length 4.6cms. Weight 19gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Enamel and rose-cut diamond section possible later addition/replacement. One of the glass covers tot he inside is cracked, would require attention. Diamonds well matched. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Enamel with moderate surface scratches. Length of enamel section 2cms.
