BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A late 19th century 15ct gold moonstone, split pearl and diamond brooch. Designed as a two heart-shape moonstone cabochons, each within a split pearl surround, to the similarly-set split pearl bow surmount and old-cut diamond accent. Length 2.5cms. Weight 6.2gms. With fitted case.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and slight discolouration to setting in keeping with general wear. Split pearls well matched. Estimated diamond weight 0.05ct. Individual size and setting of diamond prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment. Please see important notices for purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones.
