BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A late 19th century 15ct gold amethyst and split pearl brooch. The oval-shape amethyst, within a split pearl surround. Length 2.8cms. Weight 8.4gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Amethyst medium hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Stamped 15ct.
