A late 18th century gold memorial brooch. Of marquise-shape outline, depicting a seed pearl floral spray, within a split pearl border, to the guilloche enamel iridescent blue backing. Woven hair panel to reverse. Length 3.8cms. Weight 12.2gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Enamel in good condition. Seed pearls with light nacre damage. One seed pearl loose within the encased centre panel.
