A jadeite and diamond butterfly brooch. The circular-shape diamond body, to the carved jadeite wings. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Length 5.8cms. Weight 13.2gms. Jade untested.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Light and dark inclusions can be seen to most diamond easily under 10X magnification. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Jadeite slightly mottled mostly dark green, with some lighter green and almost whitish patches, well saturated, with some slight surface marks. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
